OTHER ACTIVITIES AVAILABLE: ROPING MACHINE ADDITIONAL FEE: $175.00 Try your hand at roping on a mechanical roping machine, used for practice by professional Cowboys & Cowgirls. The individual sits on a life-like horse on a stationary platform and the calf rolls out on a set of tracks. The rider then throws their rope to catch the calf. The calf returns automatically and is ready for the next run. Adults and children alike can participate! RANCH EVENTS ADDITIONAL FEE: $500.00 The Ranch Event Games are set up as competition games. Everyone in your group has an opportunity to participate and will be divided into teams. Awards to to the team with the most points. Wild West Horseshoe Pitch—Each team member will pitch a shoe at the stake trying to get a ringer. Pony Express Race—Team Relay Race. At the starting line is a giant stick horse, cowboy hat and neckerchief. At the whistle the person has to put on the cowboy gear, ride the stick horse to the “Way Station”, picking up the mail & a bucket of water on the way. Their teammate waits there for the transfer and runs back to the starting line with it all where they pass it on to the next teammate. Roping Machine—Sit on a life-like horse on a stationary platform, the calf rolls out on a set of tracks and the rider throws their rope to catch the calf. The team with the most catches wins. Cowboy Feed Sack Race to the Hen House—Relay Race. Teams compete in pairs, each person puts one leg in feed sack, carries a spoon to the hen house, fetches an egg and carries egg back to starting line. |

Experience driving a full size Western Concord Stagecoach and learn to harness & hitch up the horses. You’ll feel like you have taken a step back in time to the horse & buggy days, cattle drives, & chuck wagons! Your day will include: Caring for livestock, hands on harnessing, hitching, & driving a team of horses to a 4-up hitch, learning some horse psychology as you see how horses are trained for those great Western Movies. You don’t need to know the difference between a Doubletree or Quarter Strap, to have a great time! Includes lunch and dinner. End your day with stories around the campfire. Top of Page |

LUNCHEONS At Harris Stage Lines Schedule your next meeting, banquet, or retreat at Harris Stage Lines Ranch. We’re just 4 miles north of Paso Robles in a quiet country setting. Our facility consists of the Coach House & Pole Barn. On display are horse drawn vehicles along with tack & harness, Rodeo & western memorabilia. We can seat up to 64 persons indoors and 200 persons outdoors. Over 100 includes rental fee.
